* See thoughts as objects/appearances in Consciousness (rather than consciousness itself)
* Detach yourself from your thoughts.
- Why?:
* Most thoughts are irrational / unhelpful
• * Connects to Suffering

- As we grow up, we develop a sense of self (ego).
- As ego grows, you have an ever increasing amount of non-helpful thoughts.
(the more you talk to yourself, judging everything, thinking about the past, the future...) --- you start living outside the present reality. --- Good for Planning / Bad for your Happiness.
- Lower your sense of self ---- leads to ---- more happiness, reality acceptance, live in the present.
