Quick Update on The Little Almanack Club 🌈

I just wanted to share a quick update on the Community I started about a month ago — to meet other LittleAlmanack readers in your city (or other cities — if you’re traveling) and make cool plans in real life.

There are currently 277 approved members of The Little Almanack Club from 166 cities. And about half of those members (me included) have already been matched in their cities to make a fun plan! (the introductions are made via an email thread on the 1st of each month).

It’s quite mind-blowing how people from completely different places and backgrounds can have so much in common: interested in Charlie Munger / Nassim Taleb / Naval Ravikant, psychology, stoicism, etc.

I’ll confess that I started this project for a very selfish reason: I wanted to meet interesting people in my city and in other cities—when I’m traveling. As Naval Ravikant said:

“Solve your own problems and freely share the solutions.”

So that’s kind of what I’m doing here.

And I’m really grateful I already got to meet two members in my city Barcelona (Spain).

Below is a picture with the second member I met (I’m the one with the pink t-shirt and dirty white shoes 😂).

We had coffee and olives in a cool hotel rooftop (it’s almost summer in Spain) and shared so many interests such as investing, psychology, history, business, Farnam Street, Charlie Munger, Naval Ravikant, among many other topics and wise people!

It was truly amazing to meet someone with so many interests alike. And it was very similar with the first member I met — we shared so many things in common!
