A few days ago, a thought came to me:
What if I wasn’t the only one sharing insights here?
What if Little Almanack readers could also share ideas from the books they’re reading?
I thought that would be really cool — a way for all of us to discover new books (or interesting podcast episodes), new ideas, and meet other curious people who love learning.
But I couldn’t find the right place for it. Discord feels too messy, Slack is expensive…
Eventually, I landed on Campfire. It’s (extremely) simple, open source, and I can run it on my own server (yes… I now have my own server! 😂 thanks Claude.)
So I set up the community, created a few rooms, invited some friends, and started chatting about books!
Now I’m opening it to all Little Almanack readers (and it’s free!)
